From college classrooms to media to research organizations, plagiarism rules are too often bent or broken. Research methodologies are sometimes compromised. Opinions too frequently substituted for facts. Common courtesy ignored when using colleagues’ work. Yet credible research is our bread and butter; goodwill relationships are our glue. As we grow in influence, more scrutiny on methodology and credibility will ensue. This nuts-and-bolts session will provide practical ways to safeguard quality and credibility.
